Question:
I bought Archos Gmini XS 200 from Boots.com as a Christmas present for my daughter . However when we copy our CDs using wma files these will not play. I get the message " Playback stopped The file --------- ( Track name ) is not supported .These do play perfectly from Windows media player .
Any thoughts or solutions would be much appreciated . Would make a little girl happy and a grumpy ole man less grumpy !

media player makes it protected media unless you go into tools then options and turn it off, on my version it under the "copy Music" tab , remove the tick from the "copy protect music" box
you can also rip the music to an MP3 (on Media Player 10 there is a Rip button ). The protection may be why the file cannot play on the Archos
