Can't remove program from add/remove

Question:
I just got a new mouse at work but the scroll function didnt work so I stupidly downloaded a driver that didn't work!
Anyway, everytime I log on I get a couple of error messages and when I try to remove the HP mouse driver from add/remove it says error.
The error messages Im getting when I turn my pc on are something like:
CPQHKEY.exe entry point not found and
SetKbd.exe entry point not found
when I press ok on these -the pc works fine but its annoying that its happening! By the way, I did get the right driver in the end so the mouse is working fine!

Mmm try this.
Download run a scan and when the scan is complete if you can see the two above mentioned entries I would check them for removal as it looks like unwanted registry enetries.

It sounds to me as though your employer doesn't want you playing with the registry, so I personally would get in touch with their Tech Support and get them to solve the problem.

Its still the same way you are doing from Add/Remove, is whatever you downloaded running still. If it is a uninstall would be problamatic, check the system tray by the PCs clock if anything is new in there try a right click and stop/disable..
Then Uninstall. Just have a look.
Or try as ABH said
Or try
Just right click on file and select delete file on next boot, then restart and it should be gone.
Or if you are on a network you dont have the priveleges by your administrator.
