Every time that question is asked you get about 10 or more different answers. It's still a new technology and I've lost count of the number of readers. I seem to find a new one every other day.
Online, is considered by many to be quite good.
I've put buttons next to the because it is very easy to use and from a name people are familiar with - and lots of people are already signed up to other google services.
I quite like it but it's still new and not without the occasional glitch
I couldn't live without RSS now. I use it to keep up to date with about 50 sites and get updates of pics, from Flickr.com as well as the forums here.

I had an idea about asking fellow MSErs to give their absolute best RSS feeds - especially ones associated with bargains and Here - then creating an OPML file of them that people could import into their reader.
Many readers come pre-loaded with junk that's not really aimed at UK users

I use my yahoo! but didn't do any research into different readers, I just use yahoo a lot for email etc so its convenient. Its usually very good and easy to add content, but sometimes if you try to add RSS URLs it doesnt work (like when I just tried some of the forum feeds!) - but usually if you try again later then it will.
I love being able to scan down and see the weather, news, Martin's musings, the latest articles in some technical journals I read and an online comic, together with the most recent emails in my inbox and my calander all on one page.

When I was making the google buttons I found the forum feeds weren't getting added properly. Was gonna complain to google but now think it's more likely to be associated with the change in forum software here. Will have to see when things stabalize

One thing I've just found the other day is that it has an embedded audio player.
So you can subscribe to podcasts and listen to them directly from the reader.
