Question:
My Integral 512 pen drive has suddenly started insisting it's "write only". I've had it about a year.
I'm unable to reformat it because of this and I can't find anything in "properties" that indicates that I can turn write protect off.
So, is it a gonner?
Cheers, Rich
Answers:
Some have a small switch on the side for write protection. Check you haven't accidentally knocked it.

Thanks - checked that already - doesn't appear to have any moving parts though. have found the Integral web site and mailed them - I wonder if they'll be able to offer anything useful?
Answers:
i'd say format it (after copying your files off it). Use something like partitionMagic! it can do anything with disks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it saved my 160GB external drive after I changed the File System on it (And windows couldnt do anything about it!!!)

Thanks - tried that too, but no luck.
So, I emailed tech support at on Monday. They emailed straight back told me to back it up and mail it to them and they'd see if they could fix it.
Thursday morning, a brand new one arrives in the post. How cool is that? Fantastic customer service. Three cheers for Intregral!!!
