Sorry if this is wrong place to post....but am looking for help.
In May we had our last Clubcard mailing. In it was an offer for 1000 clubcard points for ordering £50 of wine on Tesco.com.
There was no coupon code, infact, apart from the flyer, the offer was advertised on their website.
I made an order, and chased up my points in July (the date I was told they would be added). The email told me to check in November. But the email got crossed in the post and another was also sent back from Tesco.com saying that they never had such an offer.
To cut a very long story short, I have not had my points and as I didn't keep the bit of paper advertising the deal (cos there was no code on it, I didn't think it was worth keeping) they tell me they are categorically not going to honour it.
I do remember at the time a post about Tesco (cos there are sooooooo many!) and someone asking when these points would be added. I have done a search but am obviously not searching properly as I cannot find it.
Now, I am hoping someone somewhere will be able to help me....do you remember the post, or the offer. This is a lot of clubcard points, worth £40 off a holiday and I am not going to give up lightly!

I have the August mailing, don't know if it is the same offer but it shows a code for 500 points when placing a wine order for £50 or more and a further 1000 points for placing a second order of £50 or more before 10th October.
However, that clearly shows a code and the terms and conditions say that the code needs to be used at the point of ordering. If you do want details PM me.

I wouldn't worry too much, as I've been asking questions about extra points not showing on my statement yet and half the CS staff don't seem to have a clue. I contacted the clubcard people via the website 3 times before I even got a reply - they (eventually) said they had checked my online account and confirmed that the Extra Points will show up on my Clubcard account in time for the November mailing. Phoning doesn't help either - one person said they would, another had NO idea what I was on about.
Have you looked at 'MY ACCOUNT' on the website - you should be able to get your order number off there for someone to be able to check for you. If you look at the order (should be under MY EXTRA ORDERS for wine) then you should see if it has used a promotional code as it should have a promotions discount of -0.01p - a surefire sign!)
Here's an example from a book order I did:
Sub-total of all items: £9.58
Delivery charge: £2.74
[Total promotions discount: - £0.01]
Order total £12.31

Yes we were supposed to get 1000 points plus another 500 form the food club but I dont think anyone has got either.
Writing to them might be a better idea but keep copies. You will know the date your order arrived form your cc statement

If I remember rightly I used this offer (same as OP) and the points are supposed to be added for November statement - I remember thinking it was strange at the time that it would not show in the next club card statement (i.e August) but the next but one (November)

I got wine delivered during that offer to get 1000 points. Like you they never credited and likewise when I called they said they would be added in the next (this) quarter. When my points emptied out of my account for this mailing I called and explained again, was put through to someone else (the first person can't add the points) and they added the points for me manually. No problem. I still have a note of the person's name if you need it.

The person's name was Heather. I called the normal 0800 59 16 88 number. When the first person answers just say can you be put through to the next person in the chain who can add missing points to the account. I got fed up repeating my CC# and story as the first person, who I mentioned before can't add them, transfers you and you have to go through the whole process again.

If you PM me with your email address I can email you the offer leaflet, then you can quote it verbatim to them. There is no code and it took me ages to get them to realise that.
