Question:
My 13yr sony is giving up the ghost, it's taking to switching itself off and then you can't switch it on again.
I would like to buy a replacement but have no ideas on what a good tv is really , I'd ideally like a 28" flat screen, can any techhie minded people point me in the right direction. I have a budget of £225 max.
Thanks for the help.

I would say either a) check out the offers at Tesco !! - I have seen sub £200 28" widescreen tvs.... or I can recommend
I've bought a tv, dishwasher, fridge and freezer - all from here, at terrific prices.
Rgds....

I'm sure Asda had some 28" widescreens for around £150 - £160.
Not sure of the quality though.

Do you have an X-Catalogue shop any where near you ? We went into the Redcar one today and they had t.v's all half price. I didnt see what sizes they were but its worth a look if you have this shop near you.

We have had our "Pacific" Asda's own make tv, dvd and video for a couple of years and the picture quality is superb. We were reluctant at first as I generally believe that you only get what you pay for but decided to buy as they said that we could try it all out at home and if we were unhappy with the quality then we could have a full refund as long as it all came back in its original condition and in its original packaging. They also have a really good guarantee (which we have not had to use) with them. We have been really pleased and would not hesitate to buy from them again.
