Question:
Does anyone know if these easi dry heated indoor airers are any good. They retail at about £70 but they are on Ebay for £50, including the p+p etc.
Any info about them would be appreciated, if someone has one and what they think of it, whether one is worth getting etc.
Here is the listing for one of them.
Answers:
My granny had one of these years ago and ended up never using the heater part of it. Said it used too much electricity as it took an age to dry the clothes. Mind you that was 20 odd years ago I'm sure they've came a long way since then.

Just wondered if it would be worth getting instead of using the drier in the Winter months. The only draw back would be the condensation which mean having to get a dehumidifier to suck up all the dampness. Still be burning as much electric as if I'd be using a drier, heaters to heat/dry the clothing and also a dehumidifier to dry the place. Hmmmmm!!

In Ye Olden Days, these were a metal cabinet about the size of a fridge with wooden slats across the top for hanging your clothes over. Can't see how it would be much of leccie saving - you'd need the same heat input to evaporate the water in the clothes, so just saving the bit which turns the drum on the drier.

Six of one and half a dozen - oh well. Thanks for your replies all the same.
All I need is a supersonic washing machine with 20,0000 rpms per second so it really gets every drop of water out. Got a good one, Zanussi XTC thing with fast spin, needs to be faster still!!
