Question:
My best friend has finally set a wedding date for February. She now needs to buy four adult bridesmaid dresses at excellent prices.
Does anyone know of anywhere good to try?
We were hoping to get them at BHS but there range is now not available until January (she doesnt want to wait that long) and ebay have some great dresses but not four that match.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

have you looked in Debenhams or Monsoon? they both do really nice dresses/bridesmaid dresses - just depends on your budget!

Whereabouts are you ? Theres a bridesmaid dress shop around the corner from me in Nottingham that is having a closing down sale, I can't rememeber the name off hand but if you're interested I can drive by and get the name.

the larger BHS stores should still have bridesmaids dresses available. the smaller stores have moved the wedding stuff out to make way for all the school clothing
Next now do bridal wear, and the prices are really good too (under £70 for most dresses)
as said above, i would also try places like monsoon, they wil be getting all their party dresses/ball gowns in soon
its a really good time of year to find bridal type clothing, as alot of formal stuff is being brough out ready for christmas party time

I was in Monsoon at the weekend - the 70% sale is still on. They had wedding and bridemaids dresses in stock.

Try Ebay - do a search on bridesmaid dresses, new only. Some Ebay shops also sell loads of Monsoon stuff - they ALWAYS have new bridal dresses, and I'm sure they have bridesmaid dresses as well.
I bought my wedding dress on Ebay and it's the most beautiful one I saw anywhere - it was brand new and cost less than a tenth of what I would have expected!

Ive looked on ebay and found some lovely gowns , having never bought on ebay though im a bit scared incase disappointed!

Monsoon offer a good incentive when buying clothes from their shop. If you get a monsoon store card (obviously pay off as necessary) you are covered if the dress goes down in the sale etc. I bought a lovely black dress from them at xmas, which went down in the sale by £72, and got a refund for the price difference. I believe the dress etc do not have to go down in the store you bought it from but any country wide. I guess they count on that people wont do it because you have to fil in a form, but I think its worth it. They also offer protection if the dress gets damaged etc, they either replace or repair, which is quite a good policy. They have some lovely dresses that will be ideal for bridesmaids.
