Question:
I have just fired this off to the Argos Customer Services department:
Hello,
On the 22/06/05 I purchased a CANON POWERSHOT A85 Digital Camera (560/2001) for £169.90, as you were promoting it as a special offer.
Recently you have been advertising the same camera at a very largely reduced price of £99.90. A £70 difference which I am sure you will appreciate is quite a large amount!
Could you offer me any cash back / gift vouchers as part of the money I have lost in the short period of owning this digital camera would be useful to me for purchasing further items in the Argos catalogue.
Do you think I have any chance? As it really ticks me off when companies lead you into so called special offers then make them even more of a better offer!
Answers:
Did you say it was faulty
They should refund if this is the case within first year
Answers:
This seems to happen with most electrical gadgets these days from pc's to mp3 players and digital cameras. You can bet your life that you take the plunge only to see it at 1/2 price a few weeks later.
