im looking for the lowest priced blank dvd disks in uk..
anyone?

I've used this site for years. You can sign up to a weekly email newsletter, which is useful when they have weekend offers like "free delivery". They also have an excellent customer service, and will deliver to a work address.

I've used them for some time too and been happy with them. With regard to the weekly email newlsetter, when was the last time you received one? The last one I had was on 4/8/05. It is to an email address without spam filtering so there's no reason why I shouldn't still received it. I went onto their website and tried to sign up for the newsletter again but it said I am already subscribed.
So are there any specials on for this weekend?
Answers:
Seconded.
I bought my first CD writer from them and I couldn't get it to work. They were very helpful on the phone and exchanged the pack of discs I'd bought, which turned out to be the problem, without any fuss.
I'd suggest Datawrite DVD-R discs, which are nearly the cheapest, rather than going for the absolute cheapest.

Wow so cheap!
I was going to say makro are doing 50 dvd-r/+r BOGOF for 29.37 inc Vat, which is 29p per disc. I think they are 8x. This is probably the cheapest you'll find for these Sony discs, but that site given has some cheap discs!

I've been getting them at least once a week and have had several since the date you mentioned. Maybe your email provider has been filtering "spam" without telling you? It might be worth contacting them and saying you do want to receive mail from SVP. Alternatively you could set up a Yahoo or Hotmail address to receive the newsletters.
I don't think there was anything much of note this weekend but if you order by the end of today you go in a draw for a plasma TV.

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately I didn't see this post last night so my order won't get me in the draw but nevermind.
The email address I subscribed with doesn't have any spam filtering, but I'll try re-subscribing with a different email address from a different provider and see what happens.

SVP great, but also worth looking at UKDVDR
Usually a bit cheaper, but look out for the offers, some of which are dirt cheap...

Thanks Paul. They do seem to be a bit cheaper than SVP but unfortunately on this occasion they don't have all the stuff I was about to order from SVP. I'll check them again next time though.
