16MB SD CARD

Question:
I know that 16mb is a very small size for an SD card nowadays, but my sons digital camera will only take a maximum of 16 MB. Does anyone have a 16mb card or know where I can get one from.
thanks
Answers:

eXpansys 16MB Multimedia Card !for £12.43 from Amazon.
Are 100% sure that his camera will not accept bigger memory cards? !16mb sounds like internal memory. !
You could try emailing the manufacturer to ask them if there are any firmwares available that will enable the camera to accept larger memory.
Best of luck anyway.

Thanks Gorilla, it certainly is a cheap price. The only problem is the digital camera does not take Multimedia cards only SD cards but I will contact the manufacturer (Sanyo) anyway.

2 things:
1) Number one are you positive the max it will take is 16mb? What is the make / model number?
2) £13 for a 16MB card nowadays is awful. A 128MB card can be bought for the same price if not cheaper - therefore I strongly advise you to check it will not take more than 16mb- if you post the make and model here I will check what it will accept.

Thanks JPS, yes the price is ridiculous for only a 16mb card. The camera is a Sanyo VPCX 350,its an fairly old camera,i think it was out in 2000/2001.

Ummm, it seems 16Mb is the max, but its not SD card ... its smart media ?

I think I would be inclined to go into a camera shop that deals in second hand cameras, and see if they have any old cards which they might be grateful to get rid of.
