Question:
Hi, I'm not sure if this belongs here but......
It is my son's birthday in a few weeks and although I will give him mainly money for his birthday I want to spend £30ish on a few surprises/treats for him.
As he is a boy (and will be 12!) I am at a complete loss on what to get. I don't want to spend a fourtune but want to get a few bits that he will really like.
Any ideas/lists???

Maybe a few manly toiletries? Lynx body spray etc?
Put it in a box and wrap it up in cellopane for the professional look.
Failing that, something from the Gadget Shop or I Want One Of Those?

More suited to the I Wanna Board really. You will get loads of suggestions there. At Christmas there were long threads on stocking fillers for boys and girls which threw up some great suggestions, although I think they were on Shop Don't Drop.

My son hits the same birthday this year. Luckily I know exactly what he wants which is unusual as he has AS so his likes are usually a little young for his age. Toiletries would not go down well, we have a hard job convincing him to wash.
How about CD's or gift vouchers so he can choose his own?
