I know the Oracom ORC200M is very good. My old man spent months looking through all the various features, benefits and reviews and plumped for that one. He paid £90 from amazon a few months ago so £58 + Delivery seems excellent value. It also plays WMA files which takes less space = more songs.
In general, I usually reckon to get about 2 albums on 128Mb MP3 player, so 4 on a 256Mb one.
For HD based ones Novatech's own is supposed to be good and is better value than Ipod as is the latest Creative Zen's.
