Question:
Slightly off track i know but would love to find some affordable courses in London in photography or art (painting/drawing/sculpture).
I've seen a few advertised in central london for £300 for 10 weeks!!
Can anyone help?!

Have you looked at day / evening classes with your local education authority? Or neighbouring authorities? It may be called continuing education. Try your local library for contact details if there's nothing on the council's website, sorry I don't know how education is organised in London any more but presume they are offered by each council rather than centrally.
Also if you are aware of any community centres you can get to conveniently they sometimes have courses in their buildings. Also look for Arts Centres in the yellow pages. If anything else pops into what passes for my brain I'll let you know!
Out of interest, how many hours did that £300 pay for?
