Question:
I was considering making a trip to the Next Outlet Store in Milton Keynes and was wondering if anyone new if it was worth it?? I mainly shop for kids clothes and normally use the outlet at Hatfield Galleria - which doesn't stock that much in childrens. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, is there anything else on the same site in MK thats worth a look??
Thanks in advance

It is hit and miss,Sometimes I have got loads of real bargains and other times nothing much.
Better to go when a sale is on everywhere else, as stuff tends to be even cheaper than normal .If you have nothing else to do it is worth a look.

I visit Choice at Hatfield Galleria and Golders Green (very small but quick turnover of stuff - no homeware though). I have never been to the Milton Keynes one but if you go would be happy to hear how you got on and what you think. Is the Next Outlet Store at Milton Keynes a "Choice" store?
Answers:
I would reiterate what sallyD amd trinnylilac have said there's quite a few of them here in Essex have never been to the MK one though. At the moment "choice" have 50% off womenswear and 33% off menswear and childrenswear not sure what the home furnishings discounts were.
Answers:
Now might be the time to go, as the sale stock from stores will probably be going into them. Generally though I find them a complete mess with useless stock, but thats the menswear

I think they are called "Next to nothing", don't know what "choice" is or what they have to do with Next clearance stores.
The Next to nothing stores are run by Next they also have outlets in Swindon (great western) and Street (Clark's Village.

I went to the one at Cheshire Oaks today and the stuff was pretty much the same as Greyhound Park on Tuesday except a lot of it was more expensive. Didn't get anything needless to say.

I didn't visit MK in the end. Just went to the Galleria (Hatfield). Choice store there has 50% off all its clothing. Got a few things for the kids and a top for me, all for 13pound (sorry, pound sign doesn't work). Had some really nice embellished jeans that sell in Directory for 40pounds down to 10pounds. Its ok if you're a standard side - ie 10 or 12. As a 'larger lady' I don't tend to pick up that much in Outlet Stores.
M & S there wasn't bad either, got a few bra's reduced to 5pound from 18 and matching knickers for 3pound from 8.
Thanks for all the replies on this thread, hope its helped a few more people too

I went to Cheshire Oaks yesterday and got a few things. I'm surprised that you said that things were more expensive. In all the clearance stores now virtually everything is either £2 or £3. Remember don't look at anything on the ticket price only look above the rails where they tell you how much everything on that rail is.

Next to Nothing stores have been renamed "Next Clearance". I've stopped going to the one in Clarks Village as I found the quality very poor, the sizes wrong and there's very little choice (of nice clothes, there's lots of rubbish). I also discovered that they actually import clothes especially for Next Clearance which aren't of the required quality for normal Next shops. For example, I bought a nice suit for £54 - bargain I thought, but the material on the trousers started to go thin after only a few months, my other suits have lasted years, even the cheap Matalan ones!

Is hit and missed, at the moment with the regular Next sales on, stuff at the Clearance outlets are on the final reductions. Picked up 2 good quality wool suits for £28. They're obviously trying to make room for the sale stuff that won't sell in the normal shops.

Next are also launching a cheaper brand of fashion clothing called LIME, which will be sold separately in new stores branded LIME.
As they build up the LIME product range, they're selling it in Next Clearance.
Presumably this is helping them to decide which lines they will stock in the new stores.

What's the difference between Next To Nothing, and Next Clearance stores?
They can't be the same because they are listed differently on the Next Website.

Hello,
We have a Next Clearance near us (Doncaster Lakeside)
The other week they had all mens and womens tops and bottoms (Each item) £6, but the sale skirts were all £3, cos my Wife bought one.
Best to ring them first.
In the January sales they had a similar one price offer on, so we also visited the other nearest one (Castleford), cos the bargains were that good.
There are no changing rooms, but you can return the goods to any Next Store.
I have never been able to find details of the Next Clearance stores on the website. I didnt know of any Next Choice store tho. The ones at Doncaster and Castleford are only really clothes.
