Best memory for my Dell C840?

Question:
Hi! Sorry if I am asking a repeated question. I tried searching for a suggestion but couldn't find one.
I am planning to upgrade my Dell C840 laptop. I already have 256mb + 128 mb cards in it. But I was thinking of adding a 512mb card. Which is the best memory for me? I was looking at Kingston, Crucial, Corsair, Twinmos. But couldnt make out which one is the 'one' for me.
All the help will be appreciated.
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply....I was wondering how we can find out that one card is better that the other....any ideas? apart from buying the two and comparing myself....
I looked at these in Dabs....all the 512 MB cards are similarly priced....about 60 odd

Ah, do you mean external memory cards? The above links are for internal RAM.

I am looking for internal memory....basically to update my RAM with a 512MB card....but was wondering if all the companies give the same performance....this confusion arises more so when you see about three to four companies selling the compatible memory cards at almost the same prices.... ;D

Crosair is THE BEST manufacturer from your list, but in all honesty for that brand of laptop it doesnt matter,
not just dell but all the big manufacturers build their laptop on very bland foundations(ie. Motherboard) so you would not be able to notice any differance in performance. if i was in your shoes i would choose the manufacturer with the best service ands warrenty.
my personal choice in that department would be kingstone. Over the years i have bought hundreds of sticks from them and always received excellant service pre and post sale.
