Cheap Homemade Beauty Supplies ??

Question:
I wondered if anyone knows where I can get any of the following items in a reasonable size for a reasonable price.
I'm looking to make some homemade beauty goodies as gifts and for myself but need some basic supplies :
Sweet Almond Oil
Epsom Salts
Coarse Sea Salt
Citric Acid
Essential Oils
Bicarbonate of Soda
Baking Soda
Candle Wicks (for candle gifts)
I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post, please feel free to move me on if it'll help !
Thanks !

Hi newbiemum,

It's fine to post here, but it may be worth asking on the as well, as many of the old stylers have good ideas on where to source unusual ingredients. I find baking soda and bicarbonate of soda are cheapest in my local supermarket.

Hi newbiemum,
Some of the bigger supermarkets may have Sweet Almond Oil (Only in little bottles though - I got some at Tesco a couple of years ago because someone told me it was good to rub in to your nails and cuticles) They should also have Coarse Sea Salt as well. If not available in the supermarket, I think some health shops have it as well (Holland and Barratt I think)
Hope this helps

I'm an aromatherapist and use . They are very reasonable and sell all differnt kinds of things to make your own products including dried flowers to put in soap etc. Be careful using essential oils if you are not qualified as they are very strong. you shouldn't use many drops as they could cause skin irritation etc also a number of them can't be used by people who are pregnant/ suffering from certain medical conditions.
