Question:
I'm on the lookout for a cheap freeview box - ideally from a retailer like Tesco, Argos etc so that I can pick one up today rather than wait for delivery.
Only have 2 specific requirements
- 7 Day EPG (although I can manage without this if necessary)
- Ability to connect to my home cinema system for better audio
Everywhere I've looked online so far doesn't show the rear of the box to let me see if it has the audio connections (and I know from past experience that a few don't mention it in the detail, even though it has the capability).
Any pointers appreciated

Im looking for one of these with the same requirements - the ones @ £34.99 look good, but i doubt they have digital audio - most just come with 2 phonos

Probably best to check out Tesco and/or Asda instore then where you can actually see them out rather than Argos where you have to pay first. Although having said that Argos do have a fair display these days.
Woolworths is another place to try for reasonable priced freeview boxes. I bought my last one from Woolies and while looking at the display model I mentioned I had looked at one in Argos that was £10 cheaper, the guy then price matched despite it being a different make

Thanks for the replies - in the end I went to all the supermarkets and a few stores, but none had audio output. Ended up getting the Goodmans GDB3 from Argos, seemed the best on offer for under £50
