I have a Mustek DV50000 that has 4.1 meg pixels and also 4x zoom lens. Cost, cheap about £90 cant quite remember purchased it from Directfrom. Great little thing it is.

Take a look at and for there no-name cameras. You'll get very basic functionality and quality, but a bargain price.
Also if its ebay only you don't need a 3mp camera. You could get away with a 1mp or even less (one of those cheepue mini-digital cameras you get fromt he gadget shop even.)

I've recommended this many times.
The Pentax Option 33LF from Amazon. £99.99 for 3.2MegaPixels, 3x Optical zoom, and one of those pop out lcd displays that you can turn around and stuff so you can take photo's of yourself.
Excellent picture quality for the price, takes SD memory cards which are well cheap these days and runs for hours on two AA batteries. Use rechargeable NiMH batteries for best effect. Amazon sell a charger with 4 batteries for about £7.
