Hello there,
I moved to London from Helsinki a few months ago. I still have lots of my household possessions back in Finland, and I need to bring them here to London. Do you know of a cheap international mover or a similar service? My mother had suggested that I find a truck that goes loaded from London to Helsinki, then comes back empty and try to make a deal with the driver/company, but I have no idea how I can find such a truck or driver! Any tips or directions?

Just thought to try again after a week. Any ideas about moving a few home boxes from a country to another in Europe, precisely Finland to UK, as cheaply as possible? I think everything shouldn't be more than 200 kg.

Thank you very much, isayoldchap. Yes, I had tried googling before, but the results that showed up either replied with very expensive quotes, or didn't reply at all. The result that you shared seems the most reasonable I've found, so far. It seems that I may be able to do this for 300 pounds, I hope, from that website. I think that my stuff is less than 200 kg, and less than 3 cubic metres in volume. So if anyone knows of a lower quote than 300 pounds, from Helsinki to London, I would be utterly grateful if you share the source with me.
