My friend is getting married next April and has chosen midnight blue dresses for her bridesmaids....she brought some sandals round today foe me to try on and a) they don't fit and b) there's no way I could walk in them if they did fit! They are lovely shoes but have a 2 inch stiletto heel and a thin t bar type strappy front bit with blue and white diamante detail. I'm used to wearing flat shoes (I wore flat comfy Wrangler sandals under my wedding dress when I got married ) Anyway, I need to hunt down a suitable pair of shoes/sandals to wear, please help!!!!
I have size 4 feet and am quite broad and have always chosen comfort over fashion when it comes to footwear and clothing, soI can see this being a really difficult task.

why not concentrate on finding comfortable sandals (hopefully in the sales) and then dyeing them?

I knew someone who spray painted white sandles with car paint for their wedding - a huge range of shades to choose from and they turned out quite nicely.
