After quite a few months of my washer making a right old racket and OH never getting round to have a look at it , it finally died this morning, it refused to spin and made a terrible burning smell. Does anyone know of any good deals around at the mo. Or could it be worth fixing

It may be worth calling out an engineer to get a quote to see how much it will cost to repair the machine. If you look in Yellow Pages or your local newspaper, you should find some companies will come out to check for free.
