Any advice on where to buy curtains...options fos ready made AND specifically made for your windows.
Looking for something very plush for the front room.

Have you got a Dun Elm Mill near you? They do fab curtains, ready made or will make to fit your windows. Loads to choose from and really very plush but not too dear.

Agree with the comments on DunElm - great choice of fabrics. Can add to this by suggesting - do you know any friends who can sew? - much cheaper to pay them to make the curtains than to pay a shop... If you have't got a Dunelm, try your local market if you have a good one. My sister-in-law got some lovely quality fabric from St Albans market and had curtains made up for a fraction of what it would have cost to buy them.

Ditto the Dunelm suggestion. Also Fabric Warehouse seem pretty good, you can pick up some good deals on roll ends etc too.
