Freeview Boxes...Best Buy?

Question:
Im looking to buy a freeview box for my aunt, but i have no idea about Freeview. Do i have to look for specifications for it before buying or will anyone do?
I will check out prices at John Lewis, Tesco and Tesco Direct, Argos, Asda, Amazon. Any other sites i should try or are there any sites with discount codes i can try? Any help, thanks guys.
Answers:
i guess you should buy a box that will allow you to put in an add on card so that you may be able to view extra pay channels if you ever wanted. You should get one inside £30.

ive had 3 boxes fail so far...id suggest you get a cheapie asda/tesco/sains one thats easy to exchange when/if it fails , and if it fails after the warrenty then you havent wasted too much

bear in mind that you're buying the interface too - ie the program guide etc. how well designed this is can vary wildly, so it would be good to be able to try it out especially if it's a no brand model.
i love my sony crt's inbuilt freeview interface, but i've seen some bad ones (philips i think). anyone have any feedback on this aspect?
Answers:
The cheapie one from ASDA I got is terrible... I would avoid it it's very frustrating!
