can anybody point me in the direction of a good dishwasher in the sales, i dont know much about them so any info on them and recomendations will be good also.

Siemens or Bosch
Look out for ones with free warranty as well as reduced price. We were lucky last time we bought got a Siemens which had extra send away 5 year warranty, was discontinued model so price slashed and last remaining so slashed again immaculate floor model. It was stainless steel exactly what we wanted and ridiculously cheap top quality. From Comet. I would go to an out of town shopping area that has all the big names and take a look at the sales. Also check out the internet. Can't go wrong with a bosch or siemens though. I also like to have an economy cycle (quick) as this is generally good enough for most washes and saving time and money everyday.
