Question:
Hi
I'm after a simple and classy automatic watch. Can anyone recommend a good website and/or make to look at?
I haven't totally decided on my budget but somewhere between £100 and £200 would be ideal.
Thanks!

"automatic watch"? whats that?
Answers:
Maybe a little downmarket for your price-range, but Swatch do a very good range of automatic watches. They have been doing them for the past 10 years or so and I have recently bought a new one from ebay. In the swatch shop they tend to be the upper half of £100.

I think you get a good watch for you money from Tissot, my gf bought one at the airport a few years ago, its very nicely made and looks alot more expensive than it was.
have quite a few illustrated and several proper clockwork ones in the range you suggested.
Link just an example though, I have no idea if they are any good!
Cheers,

Have a look at this item on ebay.. I have used these guys before and they are very good. Remember to add 20% to price to cover VAT etc.

Hi topher,
Have a look at the Tissot website, there are no prices quoted but they have a nice range to cover all tastes and all pockets, and are looked on in the trade as the BMW / Mercedes of watchs. If you do a general web search for Tissot you will find plenty of sites to check out the prices. Prices range from just under £100 to sell the kids !.
If you are a Tesco customer convert your Clubcard tokens to Deal tokens and visit Goldsmiths high street stores.
I have just done this and am know the proud owner of a automatic Tissot retail price £320, the only cash that changed hands was £5 the rest of the purchase price made up of Tesco deal tokens

Thanks folks - I'll have a look at Tissot watches.
Has anyone used - I like the look of the C5 Malvern Automatic. Quidco gets you 10% back.
