I cant afford to buy a carpet cleaner at the mo and have used one of these before, does anyone know who does these the cheapest?

Seriously though, I think Homebase hire 'em out for a small (ish) fee.

If you have one of their priority cards or know somebody that has one I believe you get a discount on the hire fee too

Johnsons Dry Cleaning hire out the rug doctor. Go into the branch and ask for details. There is alot of profit to be made in the Dry Cleaning machine solutions - don't be scared to barter the price a little in there.
We used to have a carpet machine in Sketchleys, customers would definetly have a go for a reduced fee!
As a warning, make sure everything looks to be in working condition when you pick it up and that all the parts that they say are there actually are there :-)
