Upgrade the battery for £11.75 - lasts longer when not on mains.
I would also get the XP Home backup media for £5.88
Don't get any of the other upgrades - or check here first!
If she wants Microsoft Office - get the student edition from Amazon £93
- or she may prefer Open Office - Free and MS compatible!
