Question:
Hi All
I'm looking for a hand-held (non-pc) label writer to label a mountain of paperwork and files. The cheapest one i've seen is £20 but I don't want to spend that much if I can help it. Has to be proper labels - not embossed tape.
Does anyone have any suggestions???
Doesn't have to be new, as long as it works.
Thanks

Hi I thought that the one in Argos was cheaper than that but I was mistaken, it is £19.99 but is ever so good as I have one myself. Prints onto white paper tape but there other kinds available, plastic, metallic and some colours I think. I have done one of the paper ones for my sons sandwich box, which gets washed each evening and it is still there after about 6 months(actually it could be even longer as he seems to have had the box for a while now, which is a miracle as I went through a stage of buying one nearly every week!)

Hi In for a bargain, thanks for replying.
Yes, the dymo one in Argos is really good, my friend's got one. I was trying to find a way round paying so much for one (plus £4.99 for tape!). I'm usually good at finding a way around things but this has stumped me!
I've got some serious meetings coming up (and I do get a bit flummaxed(!) when i'm nervous) so wanted the paperwork sorted and tagged.
Pity Argos hasn't got a sale on
(I have seen sellotape on offer if your son starts losing his sandwich boxes again )

Hi Urban Spirit and In For a Bargain,
Could one of you post further details of the Dynamo product (product number?) as I did a search on Argos and couldn't find one - maybe I can look elsewhere for it...
thanks

tchibo has one a little bit cheaper
atleast you'd save the cost of one roll of tape!
i love mine - label everything, and managed to find loads of tape for sale in asda last year, or maybe the year before. i've even got the tape that you can iron onto clothes.

Hi Sooz - that will probably suit me down to the ground - I just need something simple and actually I have a free delivery voucher for Tchibo. Thank you so much!

PS - I realise now that I was calling them Dynamo rather than Dymo!
