I wanna...buy an iPod on holiday

Question:
Howdy. I may be going on holiday to the US and was wondering - is there any 'rule' against buying an iPod over there if it's cheaper than in duty free? I'm not talking for sales or anything like that - just the one, for me. Having looked around on the net I've see the prices when converted (for a 30gb video iPod) are cheaper than in Dixons duty free and elsewhere. Is there anything to stop me getting one, am I really getting it cheaper, or would I need to pay some taxes on it when I bring it back? Advice gratefully received!

Answers:
there is a customs limit as to how much you can spend on goods that you are bringing back into the UK.I think it's around £150 but I'm not sure
