Question:
Hi,
I purchased my tyres off the internet to save money but now face the reality of being ripped off to have them fitted.
Any tips on which chain of tyre fitters/distributors do good deals on fitting and balancing?
I am in the Peston area.
Best so far is £15 per wheel.
Thx
Toddy
Answers:
On the 'MyTyres' website down the right-hand side in the fitting service companies there is a link to 'fitter'.
Tyres for PASSENGER CARs very cheap, bargains, have a look and save
Answers:
Depends how you approach it, try a local garage instead of a high street name and chances are one of them will do it as a cash in hand job. Just be subtle in your approach.
I get a guy in my local National Tyres to do it for £30 per set of 4, including balancing.

Hello Toddy
I'll move your thread over to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board, where it should get more views and responses.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see ) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email .

Juat phone around and get some quotes, you should be looking at £8 to £10 for a strip and refit and balance and some places will charge a quid for scrapping the old tyres.
