Need a new car stereo today, changing cars tomorrow and don't want to give the garage my nice stereo.
Tape/Radio, CD/Radio ... need to be able to collect! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP, not at all bothered about features!

Hi why dont you ask the garage if they are ok with removing the unit, as if they are punting it to a auction they usually dont give a care if it has one or not,
alternativley go to your local scrap yard, I would not even bother connecting it up
